Am I under contract? What is the length of my contract?

Our contracts vary in range. Please contact your branch, ask your sales representative, or refer to the language in your contract. If you do not have a copy of your contract, your local branch can help.

Why did you automatically renew my contract?

Our contracts contain an automatic renewal clause to give you peace of mind that there will never be a lapse in your security monitoring. You may cancel renewal of your contract by providing written notice to us at least 30 days before the end of the contract period. Written notices of cancellation should be sent to your local branch. If we do not hear from you, we will automatically renew your contract for one year, after the initial contract term, to ensure continuous monitoring of your security system. We cannot accept cancellation requests via phone, email or on consumer review sites.

How do I cancel my services?

We’re sorry to see you go. If you wish to cancel your contract, you must provide a 30-day written notice to your local branch before the end of the contract period. We cannot accept cancellation requests via phone, email or on consumer review sites.

Please be aware that if you wish to cancel your contract before it expires, you may be subject to penalties that may include but are not limited to equipment costs, early termination fees and/or the monthly monitoring fees remaining on your contract.

We do have a policy for military families and those conditions are part of our Military Policy. Please contact your branch for information specific to your situation.

What if I cancel my contract before it ends?

We require each customer to sign a monitoring/service agreement that can vary in length. We value our customers, and make a significant investment in the products we use to support their needs.

Because of this, should you wish to cancel your contract before it expires, you may be subject to penalties that may include but are not limited to equipment costs, early termination fees and/or the monthly monitoring fees remaining on your contract.

My home has an existing system. Can you monitor it?

If your home is in our service area, chances are we can monitor your existing system. Please contact us to evaluate the existing system and ensure it is in proper working condition. If the system has been well-maintained and is up to date with local jurisdiction and building codes, we should be able to activate and monitor it.

Your security system comes with a one-year warranty from date of installation. Please refer to your contract for full details and exclusions. If you do not have a copy of your contract, your local branch can help.

In addition, we offer SecurityCare and SecurityCare Plus, both are optional extended warranty plans that provide exceptional value.
